Good News for Clyde River

The Clyde River Women’s Institute has recently received a substantial grant from the New Horizons for Seniors Capital Assistance Program for updates to the Riverview Community Centre. This will allow improvements to the building which will conserve energy and make the building more senior friendly, especially during the winter months. A Steering Committee has been formed and planning has begun. Work is expected to begin during the next month, and the first phase is insulating the basement. Funding for this project is provided by the Government of Canada.
