The LEAP Exhibit of Art Photos

If you had a chance to see the previous entry where Artist Julia Purcell talks about the transformative nature of watercolor painting, and you wondered what that meant. Well, when you see the following photos, you will know exactly what she was referring to. The art is beautiful, but what is equally as striking is the beautiful and happy faces of the artists. If art can recapture the wonderment that came naturally to us as children, then art and creativity should be a lifetime pursuit. And if you are fortunate enough, you will have a great art teacher like Julia. The community of Clyde River is very appreciate of the LEAP program which was expressed in many ways throughout the afternoon and in the smiles that you find in these photos.
