LEAP Choir featured in The Guardian today

Some singers have to wait for their first CD and have an agent to get publicity, but word is already spreading that there is a wonderful group of singers meeting weekly this winter at the Clyde River’s Riverview Community Centre as part of the LEAP initiative. I think that I have heard there are over 40 people in attendance on most days…male singers as well, although they are not pictured here…a little shy, I guess.

The rest of us in the community await the announcement of their first concert date. We might not be able to carry a tune in a bucket, but we know talent when we hear it. Check out the photo in today’s Guardian, on the front page, no less.
