What do you know about Shadow Boxes?
Hilda Colodey brought along a shadow box or a later reference would be a “memory box”. In this top view, it appears as a framed photo, but the interior area is approximately 5 inches deep and displays a collection of flowers preserved in wax. Would anyone have an idea of the date of this shadow box? There was nothing written on the back, so Hilda is not sure if the flowers could have been from a wedding, funeral or some other occasion. We look forward to seeing your comments or further questions. I think if we could date it, we may be able to solve who it is connected to or the event it represents.
