Melanie Worth completes Events Co-ordinating Program

Melanie Worth is a new graduate of the Events Co-ordinating Program, part of Holland College’s Tourism and Travel Management. During her program she travelled to Dallas, Texas, for the annual Professional Convention Management Association and to Sydney, Cape Breton, where she volunteered at the East Coast Music Awards. Proud parents are David and Valerie Worth. Her grandparents on her mother’s side are Oliver and Phyllis MacDonald; Phyllis (nee MacKinnon) grew up in Clyde River. Melanie is currently looking for a job in the events industry, but until then she is working at Gass’ General Store.

Congratulations Melanie. With all the events going on in PEI this past week with Regis & Kelly and the Cavendish Music Festival, your profession looks like it will be a good choice for the future.
