Clyde River W.I. Announces LEAP Program for 2016

The Clyde River Women’s Institute is pleased to announce they have been accepted for a LEAP (Learning Elders Art Program) grant. We are delighted to have artist Kate Sharpley to instruct us in a Mixed Media Art Project for Seniors (ages 50+).  This is an eight-week program funded by the PEI Department of Education, Early Learning and Culture. As there is limited seating, applications for this project must be in to Jo-Ann MacPhail at 902-675-4335 by Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.  Starting date is Wed. Jan. 6, 2016 at 12:30 pm. at the Riverview Community Centre, 728 Clyde River Rd. in Clyde River.  There will be a public open house to display all the finished art pieces on March 9, 2016.
