Steven Shoemaker
Mayor

Steven Shoemaker

I am a teacher at Charlottetown Rural High School and have always had an interest in politics. I live on Alexander Drive with my wife Cynthia and our two sons Samuel and Simon. I decided for this term to offer for the position of Mayor of the Municipal Council, as I really enjoyed my term as Councillor. It is a great learning experience and a privilege to represent the constituents of Clyde River. I can be reached at 902.388.1513 to discuss any concerns you may have regarding our community.

“I have been self-employed my entire adult life, operating a property restoration company and more recently property development and management. I grew up in Cornwall PEI and moved to Clyde River in 1997, where I currently reside. I joined Council to share my experience and knowledge to help the Community of Clyde River adapt to change and to hopefully provide a future that will suit current and future land owners. Residents and businesses as best as possible. ”
